If the climate change warnings aren’t yet loud enough, tune into what some of Vietnam’s leading environmental scientists are saying.
Vietnam is among the five countries most in peril as a result of rising sea levels and changing weather patterns, according to a 2009 report by the World Bank. The country’s long, thickly populated coastline and its reliance on fishing and related industries put Vietnam in the frontline of what many experts see as an impending battle for survival.
